Today doctors and scientists are actively debating strategies for treating male infertility. Held on July 1-4 in Spain, the Annual Meeting of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) discussed those aspects of male-factor infertility that became especially relevant after the launch of fundamentally deeper scientific and clinical studies. Previously underestimated factors behind male infertility were openly raised for the first time during the session dedicated to the issue of male lifestyle and reproductive health. Lika Chkonia, ReproART’s Founder and Director and Georgia’s Representative in the ESHRE National Committee, was invited to chair this session.
